No skills listedStudents will develop an evidence-based and culturally relevant vaccine and health literacy curriculum tailored for Indigenous communities. They will collaborate with Indigenous health experts, teachers, and community members. By addressing specific health challenges and cultural contexts, the aim is to enhance understanding, accessibility, and trust in healthcare information.
Students have identified key competencies from the Ontario Curriculum across all grades that are aligned with the theme of Health Literacy. Students are developing a pilot lesson on hand hygiene which they aim to pilot in March, as well as developing surveys to collect feedback from indigenous educators.
Providing specialized, in-depth knowledge and general industry insights for a comprehensive understanding.
Sharing knowledge in specific technical skills, techniques, methodologies required for the project.
